Vickers Music School is teaching the world how to rock, one person at a time.
Learning to play music should be fun and easy, so that's how we do it here. No matter what your age, experience or musical ability, we will start right where you are and inspire you to reach the level of your musical dreams!
About the Instructor
Kirk Vickers has been teaching music for over 25 years and performing professionally for more than 30 years.
Kirk has been the musical director of Elementary, Middle and High School bands at Andersen Elementary School, Our Lady Queen of Angels and Corona Del Mar High School. Over the past twelve years his bands have performed numerous concerts, including in school productions such as Flag Deck ceremonies, talent show host band, and holiday productions. Some of his bands have performed at community events and larger local venues such as Camus Jax, The House of Blues, and The Orange County Fair.
Kirk Vickers has been performing as a solo artist and with numerous bands throughout Southern California since the late eighties. He has performed in a diverse range of atmospheres including 21 Oceanfront, The Newport Beach Yacht Club, the Orange County Art and Jazz Festival, and Long Beach Blues Festival. His current Band “Hwy 39” has hosted the Huntington Beach Blues Jam every week since 2013.
Kirk has been studying and playing music since 1984. He has studied at Orange Coast College and Grove School of Music. Kirk also has a degree in the field of television production from Video Technical Institute.
